WebDec 19, 2024 · Description: The CTDOT Metro North/Atlantic Street Bridge replacement project bid at $74.8 million was the first use of ABC methods to replace an existing railroad bridge on the Metro-North Railroad line in Connecticut. This project was the second of a two-phase project sequence used to complete the bridge replacement. WebRoute 8 Design Build is a project administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT), and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The project consists of design and rebuild (including resurfacing, bridge rehabilitation, and safety improvements) along the Route 8 corridor in the state of Connecticut.
