Also note this restart/shutdown only occurs when I AM actually playing FFXIV, I can sit and idle in the game anywhere and its fine but only when I actually start trying to run content does the shutdown happen. WebA 12 year old game like FF14 is going to barely tax a modern CPU (especially at 1440p versus a lower res like 1080p), that is why your temps are so low. BF2042 is a known CPU heavy game that is only 1 year old. Not saying the OP has optimized his cooling the best he can, but you can't compare your temps to his with FF14 as a reference point.
